Bigger than ever! The BASSart Festival in Munich is coming back…
Check out the massive line-up for this year and see: fluctibus factory is there too!
We will prepare a little lounge at the Forum Deutsches Museum with sounds by Urban Bang,
Emerge MC, BluDysko and ContraBassisticco. Apart from that I will be pushing a little
photo-exhibition about Moscow and Munich in HDR. Aight! It would be a real delight
to welcome everyone of you there. Let’s see what will be happening this year…
In a new Focus Posted on December 30th, 2008 at 5:48 pm by admin
For the purpose of checking my new camera I took this picture at the Riviera in Munich.
And I gotta say: Funky, goody, dooo, the G1 Lumix. I hate making advertising, but whoooo!
These photos were taken on a walk through downtown Munich last summer.
We found this crazy showcase of some shop (I forgot what it was. Ads don’t hit me no more).
On the picture in the middle you can spot my mate Martin.
Believers in the old gnosis meant that the soul is captured in the body like in a jail. However:
This painting is supposed to say, that we are captured in the vicious circle of TV, galling and
copulating. And nescient about that we lay waste. fluctibus, oil 2002 or so
MEMEFEST 2008 Posted on June 17th, 2008 at 2:41 pm by admin
For the seventh year now, the organisers of the Memefest, based in Ljubljana,
a »festival of radical communication,« have encouraged students, professionals,
artists and activists alike to contribute their talents to the collective counter-culture.
And me, myself and I did some work too! Its called »ignor and rest, ignor the rest«.
Description »My idea is a two picture installation, in which non of the pictures matter
most. What matters is the filling word between them, which apparantly is missing…
and has to be conducted by the viewer.«
My contribution is in the category »Beyond«. Please give me a good rating (; >>
This is my first first stop-motion tryout. I know the figure has no legs. Just
imagine it is kind of a snail. Next time (when I have time) I will try legs too…
(The sound I took from a Pulco-Flex-Blue-freestyle-session)
This is a video I made for cheekychen. His attempt is to open an art-category on youtube.
Therefore everybody should make a video containing the words »make art« and upload it.
Du bist Scheiße Posted on February 15th, 2008 at 5:24 pm by admin
This is my contribution to the actual running image campaign in Germany »Du bist Deutschland«(You are Germany), which is supposed to create »positive thinking« and » a new national consciousness and pride« (!!!). It is supported by large media corporations, other companies and many celebrities. Just too bad that they never looked into the web for the origin of the saying: »You are Germany«. Because it was used in 1935 already and guess by who. Of course: by uncle Adolf the Führer himself >>.
There was not much going on here lately, because of a completely monotone
working-marathon. But I have been struck by an insight, I would even call it a
gnosis, if it wouldn’t be that trivial: »Working in repetitive tasks really fucks
the brain!« I mean thats not a very deep comprehension. But interesting is, how
to get some new creative juice into a boredom-trashed cerebric. Once I read
that chewing chewinggum makes the braincells increase. That sounds great!
But it is not solving the problem of an absolutely empty mind. How can it be
filled with new ideas? The only solution for me was to produce even more
and never to forget about the philosophy wich is the real cart horse of it all!
So I’m working on some new videos right now and started several paintings.
But time is short and the unfinnished stuff is not going to hit the web. Better
tides are aproaching … for sure. Here is a taste of some I did for catharsis …
