Oben ist es still [Above it’s silent] is the topic of the current exhibition at the Artothek in Munich. Wolfgang Aichner, Barbara Bernrieder, Christiane Fleissner, Isabel Haase, Chaya Nouriani, Moritz Partenheimer, Daniel Schüßler and Christian Stock are presenting works which are all in relation to this very specific kind of mountain environment: the Alps. The artists went into the hills as a group and reflected the philosophical perspectives of them with the final goal of making artwork due to it. It must have been a nice trip! The whole thing is curated by Tina Hudelmaier. You can still visit the exhibition till the 31st of Oktober 2014 at the Munich Artothek, Rosental 16, 80331 München. There will be a guided tour and a talk to the artists at the Long Night of the Museums in Munich at the 18th of Oktober 2014, and there will be the Finissage on the 30th of Oktober 2014. More Information you may find here >>
