»Sans Titre« (Untitled) was the title of the exhibition Maximilian Theo Kehl gave at the Gallery “Weltraum” in Munich in december 2014. The young artist, who is currently studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich, was already influenced growing up in an art-inspired environment. His granddad was an art historian and he himself started drawing and painting pretty early. Since one and a half years he has kind of specialized to portraits. And he does that very well. His attempt is about getting close to people he draws with the traditional methods of painting and drawing. Therefore he is mostly portraying family and friends. In his series you will always find self-portraits as well. I really like his unstrained style. I look forward seeing more of his work. [Thanx to Rudi from the “Weltraum” for the invitation]

An exhibition of father and son. That’s »One + One = Equal (… but also different)«. Nikola and Timor Miscevic are showing selected works at the Werkstatt-Gallery in Munich presenting 19 beautiful pieces. The pictures are seeking an inner dialogue between them two, because they are put into an interesting relation producing effectual tension. (Another tension the artworks gets into it, is with the fine jewellery displayed there too. The Werkstatt-Gallery is run by a goldsmith and some of her crafts were set up in order of colour to the pictures).
