Sunday was Groszday. I mean it was a beautiful day. The weather was tiptop and we made a trip for once. We drove down to the lovely Lake Starnberg to visit the opening of an exhibition at the Buchheim Museum. And that was the place were it got amazingly Grosz. Because they are just showing over 200 great works by George Grosz: grafix, sketches, paintings, sculptures and multimediadocuments. I have been a Grosz fan already since quite a while, so I was overwhelmingly happy getting the chance looking at the intense pieces of this unique artist (1893 – 1959). [Thanx a lot to Annette & Marlene for the invitation and thanx so much to Ira, Hélène & Giacomo for joining.]

You should go to the Buchheim Museum and check out this very special exhibition, if you are around that area >> it’s running till the 2nd of November 2014. Don’t miss it!

[These are just some impressions from my lousy phonecamera. There is a very nice designed catalogue of the exhibition made by Bureau Mirko Borsche. Grab the limited book when you exit through the giftshop! Or maybe you will find it here in the museum-shop some day >>]
